CPR Certification.
Every team member at PDN must be CPR certified. You need an Adult And Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification conducted as fully in-person or blended training (partially online and partially in the classroom).  PDN is an accredited Red Cross CPR provider. If you are not certified, you will trained with us. (The cost of CPR training is $75, and it can be covered by the first shift you will cover with us.)

What childcare do we cover?
Project Date Night specializes in providing last-minute and emergency childcare coverage alongside one-off, and regular babysitting gigs like date nights. We also cover a lot of daytime requests ranging from one-off to longer-term coverage. We fill in the childcare gaps for parents who are freelancers or have steady child care (whether it’s nanny or daycare). We cover when nannies go on vacations, take sick or personal days, and when schools and daycares are not in session.

What do we offer our team members?
You get to work in a safe environment. Same as babysitters on our team, families we work with are previously screened. You are guaranteed to always get paid, have support whenever issues arise, and work when it suits your schedule. Working with us is highly flexible – you can work as much or as little as you’d like.
Team Project Date Night is a close-knit group of like-minded people who like, respect, and help each other whenever needed. We are a community – we like to meet together a few times a year for training purposes and to simply spend time in each other’s company.

How much $ can can you make?
Our main income and budget that allows us to run this business, comes from the memberships paid by families and a 10% fee from each babysitting gig.
Meaning – you get 90% of each booking, and we take a 10% cut. This makes us affordable for families we work with, and time and money worth for all of our team members. We require a minimum of 4 hours or pay equal to 4 hours to cover a request. The absolute minimum amount of $ you will make from a shift is $86.40 for a 4-hour booking (after our 10% cut). Cancellations of the same day and next day requests are charged the 4h minimum. Families are charged every 1/2 hour, and you get paid directly by families via Venmo, either the same day or the next day. Families are also obligated to get you a car home after evening bookings and for a very early morning start (5am-6am).
