My name is Kathy Xu and I am currently a Pre-K Assistant Teacher. I was born in Shanghai, spent my childhood in New Jersey, and grew up in California. And for the past few years, I live in New York City!
I have always had a passion and interest in working with children. I started off as a Sunday School Teacher, then, moved on to babysitting and tutoring in private residences. I was also a one-on-one aide for children with autism, teaching communication and social skills. In addition, I worked as a Resident Assistant at an arts summer camp for pre-teens.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, painting, writing, taking walks along the water, and trying new restaurants.
