Hi families! My name is Maira and I'm a native of Colombia - I'm bilingual in Spanish and English and I have a degree in financial engineering.

I'd describe myself as a very warm person who can create with ease great relationships with children. One of the things I love most about working with kids is watching them discover the world. It is incredibly joyful to see the wonder in kids' eyes while they are experiencing and learning new things. I learn as much as they do by simply spending time with them. Good communication is key here and I make sure to create good and healthy boundaries which help me and the children I take care of to always be safe while having a ton of active fun.

In my spare time, I like to do outdoor activities, and attend yoga classes and gym to exercise regularly and keep myself healthy and energized. I also like to spend time at the beach and try new restaurants.
